How-To: Set Up an Inbound Path

Platform: UnsubCentral (USC)

Feature: Exchange Connector (Inbound)

Steps to Follow

Inbound Connector

1. Create Inbound Transport Rule.

2. In the Connection From section, select Your organization’s email server. In the Connection To section, Office 365 is the selection by default.

3. Type in the name of your new connector. In this instance, we have used SMTP Relay Inbound from USC. Select both the available checkboxes at the bottom, and click on Next.

4. Select By verifying that the IP address of the sending server matches one of the following IP addresses, which belong exclusively to your organization. Enter 96.47.20.90/32 or 96.47.24.90/32. Click on the (plus) button and then on Next.

5. Click on Create connector.

Test the email by sending from an account that is in the Distribution Group above, and alternatively from another account that is not. Both should reach their destination, but the USC processed email should have a header for <   X-ZUAPI-YOURCLIENTID   >
